We are a transcription/translation services company that deals primarily with entertainment transcription, such as cooking videos, reality television.  We have been in business for over a decade and continue to strive to be and do our best.

We pay by check and our headquarters are located in Los Angeles, CA. This is a remote position so it can be done from the comfort of your own home. 

The rates depend on the audio/video file, amount of speakers, dificulty and turnaround time. Our rates start at $0.6 per audio minute and go up from there.

A transcriber should have the ability to:

*check and respond to emails daily and in an efficient manner

*transcribe accurately even with background noise and overlapping conversations

*type 60 wpm

*accept difficult files as well as the easier files

*use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation

*proficiently research uncertain names and words using Google and other search engines

*read, understand and follow the instructions and style guide for each assignment

*type and proof your transcripts to 98% accuracy

*be available for corrections, if needed, after submission of your transcription assignment

*use MS Word proficiently

Equipment/Software required:

* High Speed Internet

* PC/Laptop with the ability to run a transcription program and the ability to upload and download multiple files

* Headphones

* transcription software (optional)

* Foot pedal (optional)
