I'm not sure how that adds up to the pay by page, but anything that has more than one speaker to type should be paying top dollar for a transcriptionist. The court reporters don't even seem to know what some of these people are saying, as their notes don't capture what is being said or they leave out large blocks of the conversation. I suppose they're leaving it up to the typist, all the more reason they should be paying top dollar for this type of work.
