Selling a company is not "giving it away." He could have had a generous offer by this entity to purchase the company. Perhaps they are merging and are going to start sending work overseas to save money. If you look at the owner's LinkedIn page, he specifically mentions, and I quote, "Reducing employer liability and labor costs of approx. $50K by introducing off-shore strategies to reduce costs, enhance workflow, and limit liability."
There could be a number of things going on here. We will just have to wait and see what happens.....
