DSS voice files?? - d

Did you mean DSS voice files? GearPlayer plays those. I've never heard of DDS files so just wanted to confirm. If you purchase GearPlayer, the types of files played is under Tools, Options, Files. You can check the box of any type of file listed there and there are many to choose from.
