We are seeking Medical Transcriptionists with the following:

• Ability to commit to a schedule of Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs after 2p EST start.  NOTE:  We do have a limited amount of spots available for day shift for above schedules. 
• Very strong medical editing skills.  Please do not apply if you do not have voice recognition experience. 
• Very strong straight typing skills.  The work is currently all straight typing but will be a mix of straight typing and VR. 
• Ability to maintain production requirements as well as a minimum quality level of 98%. 
• At least 5 years experience doing medical transcription in the psychiatry field with advanced knowledge of psychiatric drugs, adult and child psychiatric terms, substance abuse treatment terminology, psychiatric diagnoses (ICD10), etc.  

Minimum Requirements for Employment: 

• You must have a minimum of 5 years current and verifiable experience TRANSCRIBING and EDITING medical documents for a Medical Transcription Service Organization.  Please do not apply if you have not worked as a medical transcriptionist in the past or if you have not worked as an at-home medical transcriptionist for an MTSO in the past.  
• You must have a minimum of 5 years experience typing on acute care and/or psychiatric accounts.
• You must be comfortable typing or editing ESL reports.

 Minimum Equipment Requirements that you must have in your Home Office:

Operating System:  Windows 2007 or higher; Processor Speed:  2.0 GHz Pentium 4 or greater; RAM:  1 GB or greater; Internet:  High-speed cable or DSL (no satellite); Audio:  Dedicated PCI 24-bit Soundblaster Audigy and HD Realtek sound card preferred.  Microsoft Word: 2007 or higher.  Foot pedal: Infinity USB-1 foot pedal.
