I am Doug Palmer and I do not post anonymously defaming persons or companies with non-factual grudges. If I have something to say, I identify myself.
The post made is 100% inaccurate and a reasonable mind would see this for what it is. I am the CEO of AAOMCP and we make every effort to resolve issues (every business has customer service concerns)however, we have helped thousands of professionals advance their careers with great success and are committed to that goal. Case in point .... "especially that darned spam/junk folder which swallows all the emails from him you were supposed to get." Clearly this person does not even understand that we do not control what folder a recipients email provider directs emails to. In fact, that is most often a setting controlled by the email address owner.
The 100% FALSE comment "It seems a bother for him to keep up on just the one weekly webinar" is out of this universe. We did discontinue "weekly webinars" (something no other organization comes close to offering) so that we could instead offer webinars 365 days a year.
We do not need to testimonial (good or bad) of this unprofessional person that does not even identify who they are. My suggestion is to stay away from this person especially if you work hard to serve people and even more so if you are an employer. Clearly this person is toxic and fits the profile of a "problem employee". And, if that is "snarky" I am unapologetic as any "snarkiness" was provoked by such a venomous compilation of outright lies.
I have to also say the entry "and started his own certification program with more fees and its own CEUs." Is mindbending in so many ways. First, it is again not factual in the manner it is presented. So, should apologize for advancing the values of the industry at the request of thousands? By offering better quality content, at lower costs, with more resources? The comment "you're out of luck as he's broken off with AAPC" is so far off base. We are our own entity. We have no formal association with the mentioned organization nor any other. What we have done for the better part of a decade has been to provide better training for their members to pass certifications. And, yes, we have developed superior certifications. So, if this toxic persons grievance is that we seek to raise the level of professional knowledge, they are welcome to stay where the bar is set low for them. It appears that would be more of their comfort zone. And, we do continue to support CEUs for all of our users and that statement is again, just an outright falsehood.
