One of the only good things about being an MT is if you're a real introvert and it's good at this time with the need to isolate with the virus and all. Pay is very crummy. I work 3 jobs for not quite 30,000 a year. Sometimes it's pretty stressful and I work days and evenings as well. I still like what I do somewhat and I do some different types of transcription, but you can't rely on any one company anymore, which makes it very difficult. Unless you, as the person above too indicates, want to just work for supplemental income it's pretty much just a losing situation anymore.
