The new posting on the job seeker board from Penn Health Infomatics is incredibly insulting. $11 an hour??? Part-time IC status. So -- ridiculously low pay plus no benefits. Of course they expect experience and equipment, etc.
Who is taking these crap jobs and driving down our wage scale? That's ridiculous pay for highly skilled work. Not to mention, if you are a decent MT, you average $15-20 an hour getting paid the going CPL rate. The last time I made $11 an hour was in the 1990s. Come ON with this garbage!
