Thank you, I completely recovered the day I gave notice to MT in any form. Finding a non-MT job was a bit of a roller coaster, but I did it.
Am now happily retired (for real, not working at all) and collecting SS retirement benefits.
I have a theory about the demand for almost 100% accuracy. If you don't make the requirement, then they get to put you on Performance Management and pay you even less while you're on PM. Makes their spreadsheet look really pretty when their profit numbers go up.
