Work slowed at my Nuance vendor. I did become aware as of the latest that Nuance is looking at the way they distribute work. I don't know this to be factual, but I was told it sounded like if the vendor is not having good quality scores or TAT issues and if the vendor is not at least 90% compliant with VDI, they won't be getting the work. Just an FYI.
The vendor I am with has been low on work since January if not before. I attributed it to over hiring because I think the vendor was trying to meet TAT. Now, I think Nuance quit giving them work because of quality.
Two huge accounts my vendor has are the ones that we only do overflow. They have in-house MTs, so most of the work is dinnertime and into the night and overnight. Daytime, it's bare bones, you get hardly anything with so many on transcribing.
