Does not sound like leadership skills at all. It sounds more like something you would not want to see in a leader.
I hope the company addresses this issue with a quick response. If you do not get a response, I would just go ahead and assign them all to myself the next time you see 12 jobs if you're able to and, if not, keep asking the owner how this is fair and that you'll report it to the local newspaper. They eat this kind of stuff up right now.
I would love to know which company, but I won't put you on the spot.
