I used to work in a hospital in Michigan and EPIC was implemented. I remember the push for EHR but now I remember why EPIC was chosen.

Working around doctors, you'd be surprised how many people show up at a hospital not knowing what their medical history is or what medications they take. Docs have a fighting chance with EHR.
