These are the rules for a W2 as per the IRS website.
Your Form W-2 is a summary of the taxable earnings received in a calendar year. For the calendar year 2019, paychecks for pay period ending 12/31/18 thru 12/15/19 are included on the 2019 W-2.
It is for pay periods ending 12/31/2019, and nothing past 12/31/2019.
Pay periods for Keystrokes ending 12/31/2019 was the one from Christmas Day, 12/25/2019.
