Yes! 4 and 5 cpl sucks!!
Let me tell you why I'll edit for 4 or 5 cpl.
I'm already very experienced, and I can hit the ground running with little training. I make on average $15/hour -- not great but okay for now. I have another PT job that pays a little more. My aggregate salary isn't too bad.
While I am working for a company/facility, I do my very best.
However, 4 or 5 cpl does not buy my loyalty. I will leave that job with two weeks' notice at anytime it suits my fancy. Companies that pay so low will always hire you back. That's what it means to be a contractor. They cut you loose when they want to, and you do the same.
I'm really hoping I'm close to my last MT job, but I will say I like the work very much; I just think the pay is ridiculous.
