Job Requirements:
- Must have a great knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and pharmaceuticals with GREAT attention to detail including punctuation and grammar. Must be able to process ESL dictators.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years medical transcription (VR editing) experience.
- U.S. Resident - no offshore applications accepted.
- Infinity USB foot pedal.
- Reliable high-speed internet.
- Windows 7 or higher. Note: Windows Vista is not supported.
- I3 or better processor. AMD A8 or higher
- 6 GB absolute minimum, 8 GB or more RAM preferred.
Job Description:
- Independent Contractor position. All shifts available. Create YOUR own schedule! Work availability 24/7, however, evenings, nights, and weekends heaviest loads with fewest MTs.
- Part-time schedules accepted with 15 hours a week minimum.
- Editing voice recognition reports using the Fluency for Transcription platform. Quality a must.
- 4.5 cents per line, PLUS A MONTHLY QUALITY BONUS! INCLUDING SPACES
- Direct deposit bi-weekly.
- Documents include, but not limited to H&P's, consultations, operative notes, discharge summaries and clinic notes.
- NO PATHOLOGY OR RADIOLOGY AT THIS TIME
- No full typing positions.
Accounts: Acute Care/HIM - all specialties except Radiology and Pathology
Equipment/Internet Requirements: Reliable High Speed Internet and a USB footpedal
