Why do companies post over and over again when they have posted positions over the years and claim they are flooded with resumes? Why are they not contacting the people that already sent the resume in the last time and touch base first? It makes no sense to me.

The only company that has reached out to me is PennHealth. I cannot and will not sign a contract that lowers my pay because a doctor was not distinct enough or a QA person decides a comma should be a critical error.

I trust this board right here, MT Stars, for monitoring companies who try to be unprofessional in their recruiting process and the MTs who have gone through said recruiting process.

As far as Southern, I have applied there several times and I have over 20 years' of experience, so I don't want to hear about her tons of resumes. If she had tons of resumes, she would not be still posting. This just sends up a red flag that she hires and they leave.

I like to interview the company just as much as they would like to interview me. Let me know up front the work will run out and you will have to flex. I'm so tired of this industry and being treated like we're not human beings that have a life outside of transcribing medical reports. And just don't even get me started on the QA people for some of these companies who feel their life depends on them finding at least one error in each report as well as layers and layers of team leads, etc., to send rah-rah e-mails with comics in them to engage you to work. Where are those jobs posted? I'd like to know what kind of money they make to monitor the system and send out the e-mails. Why are they not producing like the rest of us?

As for Jay, someone just posted he over promised just like he did with his last venture, so there is a pattern there.

As far as the FB Group, there are literally people posting on there that if you get them accounts to scribe, they will hire you to do the scribe work and people are falling over themselves wanting to work for someone like that. Listen, if you can get an account to scribe for, what do you need her for? Just go virtual on Skype and scribe your life away making the money yourself.

Tired of the middle men and truly fed up!
