I know this for a fact. Why? Because I worked for MModal for years. My regular accounts just started to slowly disappear and then the work would be low, then NJA over and over again. Then new accounts to learn and start to disappear, then work would be low, and NJA. I ran out of PTO and I ran out of patience. I made some changes.

I did take a part-time job as an IC to supplement my income because it was on the Fluency platform. And guess what? I'm doing some of my old accounts, making less per line, no benefits, and paying my own taxes.

The clerks at the local grocery store make more money than I was.

I did contact my former MModal recruiter and I was told they are not hiring for MT positions.

I'm sorry for the grim news, but it is what it is.
