This is a full-time position in our pathology department. We are a 422 bed hospital - micros, gross, bone marrow biopsies, FNA, medical cytology and transfusion reactions are all done here in-house. Normally 80-100 micros/day and 60-90 gross/day. We have 4 pathologists on site. We run on EPIC with Beaker. There are 3 transcriptionists, we have one retiring. Hours are 8 - 4:30 p.m., there is OT when needed. No weekends.
Would like a transcriptionist with pathology experience, but not a deal breaker.
