If you have an attorney, a caseworker, or anyone helping you, nag them to make sure everything is correct.

I think most of these independent examiners don't know really what they're doing.  They look at a few past notes if a client provides some, ask a few questions, fill in checkboxes on a form or template, and shove the clients thru the system, not really caring if things are correct or not.

Most of these examiners are doing this on the side for extra money and they dont seem to care if their opinion or findings are wrong and how that affects someone's life.   How can these random people make a fair and honest judgment about someone's problems when they've never seen the person before?

Careless best describes it.  Crank the clients through the system, collect your check for an "independent medical evaluation" and go.
