I feel for you, knowing that you have to work at home. I was stuck for many years like that and finally had to get out, but with that said, there are other WAH jobs and the way these companies pay, you could probably find something better or at least even and not be in such a mess with VDI.

For the record, I WOULD NOT BUY a new computer or upgrade. Let Nuance figure something out, because even doing that doesn't seem to help with that mess. Some have posted until it gets fixed 100% they refuse to work in it and work the way they always did. You might try that approach; no harm, no foul.
