but that's hardly true anymore. Many women are earning more and taking better care of themselves than many men could by making smarter choices and being more responsible. Unfortunately, there are many women caring for sick or disabled husbands, and support the household without help. There are also too many mothers with adult children who are living at home, borrowing money, can't hold down a job, have psychiatric diagnoses requiring guardianship, drug problems, criminal records, etc., and can't even help themselves, let alone their mothers. In 2019, a woman who can't rely on herself and be resourceful when challenges arise "doesn't have a prayer." That has nothing to do with a husband and children.
