I cancelled HughesNet tonight. Going back to a Verizon Jetpack wi-fi with an upgraded model. I loved the Jetpack wi-fi I had, it was just too slow with VDI. Another MT at the company also had the same Jetpack that I had and he just upgraded his to the model below the one I'm getting, and the IT tech said she installed VDI on it today and it's blazing fast, so this one should work pretty well. I'm hopeful, put it that way, which is something I wasn't when I thought I'd be stuck with HN forever. Have you looked into Verizon wi-fi? They say Verizon is better in rural areas than other carriers. I'm in the boonies in an area that's always whited-out in those coverage maps and the wi-fi worked well til VDI.
