? If a ductless mini split (AC/heat) unit would work.

Depending on codes, if your garage is well-insulated, could a heat/AC duct be installed?

I live in a warm humid climit, but also have freezing winter weather, as well. I work in a room above a garage that is NOT well insulated and use a Hisense A/C in summer adpnd portable heater in winter. I was told in the past that computer equipment needed to be in a 70 degree environment. In the wintertime, I keep room 70+, but in summertime the temp is about 80+.

By working above garage, I do get a little exercise - LOL - up/down steps to bathroom and don't snack as much as fridge isn't nearby.
