Get yourself one of those little portable ceramic heaters. It may not heat the whole garage (but it will heat some of it), but you will be toasty warm. Check out amazon. You can probably get one these days for under $30.
You can also look into an infrared heater. Note that the infrared heaters DO NOT warm a room, but rather bounces of your body heat, so you would have to direct it at you. Note that it doesn't have to be right next to you, but pointed at you.
