Work and PTSD - MT1347

Posted: Jul 6th, 2018 - 6:44 pm In Reply to: Work - Lisa

That other poster gave you excellent advice. For free. You should be grateful. If you have PTSD from domestic violence, then you should expect to be taking meds when you are stressed, as we are all when doing this job, whether at home or in hospital. You have a great opportunity to develop skills in a very in-demand subfield of MT - pathology. Those skills will keep you employed for the rest of your life, potentially. If you work at home, you WILL BE STRESSED, believe me, the PTSD symptoms are not going to disappear if you are working from home. Use yoga, walking, massage, etc - whatever floats your boat to help with your stress symptoms. Good luck! I hope you stick it out - your future self will appreciate it.
