Invited to Test Imedx Australia - Set-Up Question

To set up your personal computer... Does someone need to remotely access your computer? Or can you download everything yourself? I am assuming an IC is not provided with a company computer but I have only been an IC in the US so maybe I assume incorrectly. Thanks.
