Overflow position

This is a rare opportunity to always transcribe for the same two private practitioners. This is an overflow position where voice files are available to download when the number of jobs on the system reaches a predetermined level. There will also be several times a year where you will be expected to cover for vacations by transcribing more files. After you are accustomed to the account you will be expected occasionally (during prearranged times) to answer phones calls from the office (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 pm. EST), fax reprints back using efax, type stat reports, proof work from others, and print reports for return to the office.

Voices files are downloaded from a secure website and transcribed using Word by opening simple format files. Finished files are uploaded back to the secure website within 24 hours of the voice file download. You must be adept with Word, downloading/uploading files from the internet, using Word macros (provided), Word document formatting, moving Words files, setting up Word folders.

We are looking for a transcriptionist with at least 10 years of transcription experience in orthopedics, autoimmune diseases, rheumatology, or joint and muscle diseases.
