There really is life after MT - Sm Posted: Dec 28th, 2017 - 9:59 pm
I was a 30 year transcriptionist. I was finally outsourced from FT job. I took a job in local big hospital, about $3 an hour less than prior FT. Have worked a year and recovered to within 2.25 of original. (I got a raise of 0.75 the 1st year!!)
I have been out for 2 days with a presumed broken foot, waiting for recovery or a treatment plan, Friday doctor's appt. Today, I was perusing email and doing bare minimum necessary. I recieved an email of hospital recognition for always doing what was necessary and always having a good attitude. I was home sick, feeling guilty about being out with my "foot" and I got recognition.
THERE IS LIFE AFTER TRANSCRIPTION.
