Thank you, but no - A Good Experience Posted: Dec 18th, 2017 - 6:14 pm In Reply to: Telling people U do not want to work for them - Gabby
I tested and was invited to join Allegis, a well-respected company that does insurance transcription. I had a very informative prehire interview, and the recruiter said that I would probably make around $13/hour. I was very appreciative that she told me this before I started. I thanked her for her time, told her I was impressed by the employment process, but the pay was too low for me. She was gracious, and told me that I was welcome to reapply in the future if I happened to change my mind. It was a very nice exchange. It was a win-win. I think this candid exchange was good because it kept us from wasting each other's time.
