so many people being hired is that the client we were hired for promised a certain quantity of work, then dragged their feet on supplying that work and meted it out in dribs and drabs. The low work situation has been going on for several months because of that. I don't think any over-hiring was done intentionally. I also don't blame people who depend on steady work for being disappointed. It doesn't look good for the company either. The boss's personal issues have only been in the last few weeks, and I don't think have anything to do with the present situation.
