Do yourself a favor - chicola

Complete your paralegal training and consider getting a notary public as well. These are my "back-ups" but I went to school 20 years ago.

One will balance out the other. If you're working as an MT and not enough work, then you can do paralegal on the side. You can also notarize documents on the side.

Always good to have a back-up, but if I had to do it over again, I'd stay away from transcription jobs. Working for line rate wasn't a living wage in the 90s and it's harder now. Just my opinion. Anything you can do to back up is an advantage.
