we don't do quality work anymore anyway, so why not get rid of MTs and just type it themselves.

Maybe the wages will never go back up. For all I know it's a lost cause. I understand your anger and frustration. I feel it too. But US MTs doing work as crappy as the ILPs will definitely not help.
