Only on verbatim accounts - sm

My accounts are not verbatim and these accounts depend on us to make the tiny fixes to grammar, etc, to create a more professional sounding document. For non verbatim accounts, the rule of thumb has always been to make minimal changes that maintain the natural speech patterns of the dictator and would not alter meaning in any way. To me, this is part of the art of what we do.

I have worked on plenty of verbatim accounts here too, and I don't enjoy it as much. I always feel like anyone outside this company reading those reports would assume it was me making the mistakes. But if that's what they want, it's what they get. You should never do this on a non verbatim account, though.
