Toshiba - marge

I asked my computer guru about which ones he recommended and he suggested Toshiba and another one that started with an A (not Acer). For my work I only use Microsoft Word so no real storage issues or needing a huge hard drive. I got one with a 17" monitor and other than that nothing special. I get offers from them all the time for $299 for the Satellite one. I think that is the one I have. I do store everything on an external hard drive but have had not one issue with my laptop (almost 2 years old). When I upgraded to this one my desk top was 12 years old and my laptop was about 8 years old. I figured even the entry level was going to be far superior than anything I had been working on to that point. :)

Also, at the time I didn't want the new version of Widows and was able to customize mine with Windows 7 for almost no difference in price. :)

I ordered mine direct from Toshiba as well.
