They have some way of running an algorithm through their computers which is picking out the reports most likely to have errors. I suspect every post-audited report is fed into a computer which then categorizes which type of error has the highest percent (remember the numeric items errors on the "desktop" of FIESA? They said that was 32%! So they have this knowledge, and it's no accident that the numeric items are graded the most severely with the most points off). Then they have a probability scheme matched with each MT to finally sort out how likely which report is to contain an error. Then they nail us. It saves them money by cutting our pay more often than if it was "random."
