I couldn't google that anywhere. Oddly, google also gives out suckers when you ask for lollipops! :)

Zimmer IB II Knee Components
Nov 06, 2009

I'm having trouble figuring out which punctuation this needs, if any.  The Zimmer website says "IB/II" but I can't find any other source that uses a slash, the rest use a hyphen like "IB-II".  When in doubt, do we go with what the manufacturer uses?  Thanks. ...

Zimmer Knee Components IB/II Or I/B II
Feb 17, 2010

Dictated "Zimmer I B 2 knee components..." and it is a total knee replacement of patella, tibia and femur.  On the manufacturer website, I find both "IB/II" (patella) and "I/B II" (tibia).  I cannot find this in the BOS or any of the Stedman's books. Is there a standard format for this brand in orthopedics surgical reports?  Thanks so much for any guidance you can provide.  :-) ...

Zimmer IB/II Knee Components
Jan 06, 2011

I am doing a report on a knee arthroplasty using the Zimmer IB/II knee component and am having trouble with the language.  First, I would like to know if "Zimmer IB/II" is the correct way or should it be "Zimmer IB2"? Also, the next line goes as follows: "A *sag 64 tibia, 64 femur, 35 patella, and 12 mm-height tibial articular surface was used".  The word "sag" sounds like "sauje" but I cannot find how to spell it.  Does anyone know of a website to research this?  I have lo ...

It does not look like my original Smartype.  There is only a suggestion box and no Smartline like I am used to, but I have adjusted the suggestion box and it's better.  I am getting used to it.  I like how fast it is. The vocabulary seems bigger, especially the phrases.  I'm going to spend some time importing my old ST entries this afternoon.  Overall I really like it and will likely purchase it with the current special.
