TTS- making 4 cpl as IC but have great - Escription equals......

So much has been posted about this company recently. I have no idea why so much said against the company but know how it is with me. I work my hours and hardly ever hear a peep out of any of the team there. No interaction with the boss, no interaction with the team, just work, do my hours and get paid. I know others complain about what they make but my Escription is super good and I make at least $150.00 per day, more some days, have made as much as $175-$180 in a day but mostly around $150. That is $18.75 an hour and that to me is very good pay now days, especially with what MTers are being paid. Our platform on our particular account is excellent, even with the ESLs and I am very glad to have VR now with as many ESLs as we have. Others can complain, put down the company but I know how it is with me and that is my story.

as it is put here for the express purpose to antagonize those who have had less than a good experience with this company. Gloating at the expense of others is hardly a meritable attribute. This seems much like trying to saddle up a dead horse.

I see almost continuously really bad things about the company and I just decided to post what I can do and do there. Since when is truthfulness comparable with antogonizing? Others can say, oh you only make 4 cpl, let me show you another place where you can make more but yet I am not able to tell the truth? Sorry but here tis.

I have been working for TTS for about 6 months and think they are a good company. I came from a larger company and they would just treat you like a number, I swear I had 5 or 6 supervisors in about a year and a half. Always getting a new account in my work pool. At TTS I have a primary account and it is rarely low on work and I just love eScription. I also have their United Healthcare Plan. HTH.

and I was working for another MTSO on Meditech where I never could make my minimum line count; in 3 months, only made it twice. Working at TTS I hit it the 1st full day with escription. I know a lot of people have had a lot of bad to say about it, but I was with MModal for 2 years and Nuance for 2 years and it's waaaaaay better than either of those!

TTS started out as a good company for me. Then they started griping at me for every little thing. I tried to please them and follow their guidelines, it just wasn't enough. Maybe it depends on the account you're put on. I was put on an account that was very strict and there was no pleasing anybody. So glad I'm out of that mess. The QA people on my account were not helpful and were a tad rude to deal with. Good riddance.

I also left TTS because of nit picking in general - there is a lot going on behind the scenes

If they want to get rid of you they will find a way and they found a way to get rid of me. If it was not one thing it was another. Instead of accepting their nit picking I questioned them on the nonsense. If you want to get along, bow your head and say you are sorry and NEVER EVER question their decisions as crazy as they may seem.

You just take what they dish and never question why they make decisions and if they lash out at you or start to nit pick you best be humble and bow your head to their authority.

I contracted with TTS for many years and it was a good company until about 2-3 years ago. Things changed and not for the better. The last 6 months they did everything possible to make working for them miserable, i.e. took away good accounts and gave me a horrible account, changed schedule, etc. No longer there and am so much happier.

My account went to VR a few months ago. The docs who cannot do VR because they cannot talk worth a crap still have to be typed. The best part is, instead of making 10 cpl, we now get paid 6 cpl to do it. Basically, I am now making what I made about 11 or 12 years ago. I'm always over 200 until I get Mr. Mumblemouth who knows he is not forming actual words when he hums through the PE, as my counts plummet to as loiw as 75 LPH.   Then I get a long report from an excellent fast-talking dictator and my LPH jumps to 340.   Question:  Why is it that the MTSO does not comprehend the fact that our production depends on the capability of the provider to dictate correctly?   The horrid dictators are never told they are doing anything wrong as ...

I worked for LabCorp for 7 years - started at $14/hr - left 7 yrs later at $19.86/hour -- company has own credit card for employees -  called a Clear Card - available to ALL employees - Regular working hours. EASY transcription!!!  Could do it in my sleep!  Benefits.  Had a lot of overtime if you wanted it - ($28 an hour when I left - at time and a half).  I would recommend LabCorp to EVERYONE!  They also have data entry if interested.  lower pay, though.& ...

I was just informed that, even though I worked OT in my time zone (PST) and before my shift (second shift), their day is in CST, so anything after their midnight (CST) goes to the next day - that days and hours count in CST. Geez, maybe I should be working my shift in CST hours. That could be nice. I would get to start 2 hours earlier and stop at a more decent hour. This stinks like week-old fish, and I'm thinking the Calif EED might look at it a different way! ...

Wow got an email about how great our TAT is.  Care to wonder why?  I get 1 report, finish that, and then spend the next 5 to 10 minutes pushing that freaking button hoping I get the next job before somebody else does, all the while our TL says how wonderful we all are to keep up that TAT and make her look good.  Yeah she gets the bonus and I go on food stamps, what a wonderful company this is!  ...

It is very interesting to me, now that I have completed the Allied MT course, that grammar was were never taught, besides in high school. The BOS was required, but no emphasis was ever placed on needing excellent grammar skills. So, I got this super long report with HORRIBLE audio.  When I got finished it looked like a piece of Swiss cheese it had so many blanks.  I didn't even CONSIDER sending it to QA as the audio was just terrible and there was NO way I was sending a report that long...and then get paid 3 cents a line because it might put me over 5% QA submission.  So, I just sent it straight through, expecting to get a call from my CCM on why I sent so many blanks, which, of course I was prepared ...

Why don't all of us who are tired of everything join forces and form our own company.  We live all over the country, know how to do the work, know how to QA, know different platforms.  Hundreds of us together could market our own vicinity and work together like a coop.  We would all make the big bucks.  It has to work, as we are the people who keep the large companies in business.  Coops work with any other business, why not with this.  What do you think ...

wouldn't it be really great if there was some sort of email address for us to contact our hospitals directly...without the M*Modal propaganda?  We could say "Dear Dr. ___, I understand you are really busy and dictation is low on your priority list, but if you could take an extra moment and clearly articulate your dictation, the reports would come back to you with less questions and/or errors."   I know...I know...quit dreaming.  It is really sunny and warm outside my window ...

My hospital, which we were told in February was going to be outsourcing all of our work to Nuance, backed off and we were informed today that we'll all still continue to be employed!!!!  Oh, Happy Day!  I'm one of the last MTs in the country that still gets paid well, and I was sweating it! ...

After Nuance took over I took a job at the same University teaching hosp. doing outpatient clerk position. My QA scores have been primarily 100%, the lowest something like 99.6 and very infrequently anything less than 100%. My QC scores are consistently 0% as I never send anything to QC. Just had to share my Goodwill find.  Yesterday I found a split-key clackety key ergonomic keyboard for $1.65!!  I love it.  It is made by Belkin (I didn't know they made keyboards).  I think it's older because it has the PS/2 connector.  I cleaned it up, and it works just beautifully.  Just had to share.  ...
