Immunostains revealed reactive CD3 positive T-cells and focal predominance of CD20 positive B lymphocytes centrally localized in the nodules and in between the (s/l villae) . CD10 and bcl6 were positive in the lymphocytes within the (s/l villae) but the nodular focus of B cells is negative for these antigens. Bcl2 was co-expressed in the (s/l villous C) lymphocytes as well as reactive T cells. Additional immunohistochemical stains include a repeat CD10 and bcl6 that showed similar findings concerning the suspicion of follicular lymphoma. CD21 was focally positive.
