Four Steri-Strips were placed..that is right.

but was told that if "the wound is steri-stripped,, no caps..

I've always capitalized both S's.

Steri-Strips

Straight from the 3M website.

Cap both with a hyphen .. Steri-Srips - sm

I use this rarely and every time it came up I would have to try and remember, or look up, AGAIN, what it was supposed to be, so I made it an Auto Correct entry so it is typed the same way every time.

And if I can't remember what my Auto Correct code was, since it is already in the list, I can scroll through and find it.

I do this with any odd and/or rarely used term that I have had to spend time looking up or researching or asking about and finally got it .. so I never have to chase it down again.

really good idea - sm

It's a great way to use AutoCorrect, and it works really well.
