"satting" oxygen - does that mean saturated? - sm

The dictator is saying "He was noted to be (satting) at 97% to 98% O2." What is this short for, please? Saturated, saturating, or something else? Thanks!

Anybody know the latest on this controversy? I did a Google search and came up with a post on this board from 2008, but back then VR was not as prevalent. I was previously using satting, but lately VR has been using sating. I got tired of overediting and changing to saturating even though I know that is the best choice, so I just leave it as is. But I guess someone is using sating. Would you just leave it? Sounds wrong to me, like sate-ing. ...

In a verbatum account instead of saying saturation he's shortening it. I've had it QA'd both ways, so is it sating or satting? To anyone who answers, thanks for your help! ...

A few questions that I cannot seem to find in my AAMT BOS Doc says 02 sat but do I type oxygen saturation or can I keep as 02 sat? alk phos can I leave or do I need to change to alkaline phosphatase? Doc says nitro, do I keep as "nitro" or type out "nitroglycerin"? Thanks for your help!! ...
