Punch biopsy revealed follicular spongiosis and mucinosis, as well as a dense perifollicular lymphocytic infiltrate by "hypochromatic" lymphocytes. 

likely hypochromic - in spite of doc saying hypochromatic

Hi all, I am dictating an oncology note and the doctor says: " Blood work shows a normal hemoglobin. s/l either Lymphocytes or lymphocytosis is 17.1 which has gone up since last August at 14.7." My question is what word works in this sentence? Is it lymphcytes or lymphcytosis? Do they essentially mean the same thing? thanks ...
