Sputum cultures for AFB, negative. Depete? (maybe should be Repeat?, although he is pronouncing it as a D) cultures pending. The pedia? thoracentesis were negative for organisms.
could it be para- and thoracentesis?...sm - elaine

Or maybe doc is saying pleuro- and thoracentesis?
BTW, In certain accents or speaking styles, R can sound like D.
