hepatitis - sm

My QA tells me that hepatitis A, B and C must be capitalized and hyphenated, i.e., Hepatitis-A, Hepatitis-B, Hepatitis-C. Has anyone ever heard of this?

This is a case of what my med terminology instructor (back in dark ages) used to joke about with us. It does not matter if something is correct or not (in this case, I do not think it is correct) but if that is the way QA wants it transcribed, document the comments from the QA person and hyphenate.
Sounds like where I work - sm

Owner seems to have a thing about "loose letters" without a hyphen. For some reason, Hepatitis-A, Hepatitis-B, etc., is what she prefers. I agree - it's not correct but I've learned not to argue with her. It's just not worth it.
say to her: send me documented reference of capitalization. - n/m
Hepatitis testing: Hepatitis cAb IgG serum reactive, hepatitis C RNA - s/l QLBPC positive.
Not really sure about any of this, but I have no idea what he is saying at the s/l.
thanks ...
The doctor says "He is apparently on medications for s/l Riata hepatitis-B" Any ideas. I don't even know if this is a drug or what? Thanks for any help! ...
