gastrostomy - Jacqueline

Posted: Jul 10, 2010

The patient has been here several times with significant breathing from a gastrostomy site.

"Breathing" is said very clearly.  Definitely does not sound like bleeding.  Does this make sense?  I'm thinking he means that it is leaking air?

Based on this, he must be saying bleeding. - sm

Breathing makes absolutely no sense. And I can easily see how breathing and bleeding would sound alike when said by the average dictator.

Malfunctioning Gastrostomy Tube

replacement of the gastrostomy tube in a child (I am QA'ing this)   The tube was then flushed with 30 mL of contrast under direct fluoroscopic visualization with contrast noted to enter into the stomach, excellent demonstration of the ___1:23______and follow through into the duodenum   The blank sounds like "Morgan Strassa" -- I don't believe I've heard this.  Any ideas.  Sounds like a German street or something.   Thanks in advance. ...
