Perispinal tenderness - NewOrthoMT

Google keeps redirecting me to paraspinal and I can't find any information about perispinal; however, this doctor clearly says perispinal tenderness. "Perispinal" in my Stedman's speller, but I'm not sure if there is a "perispinal tenderness" because I cannot find any valid sources.

Is perispinal tenderness the right word?

It is paraspinal - no such thing as perispinal

I do not believe it's perispinal. I looked it up in my Stedman's Radiology word book and it's not in there. I believe the doctor just may be mispronouncing the word. I have only heard of paraspinal and not perispinal

If you say paraspinal and perispinal out loud, you will hear that these words are virtually indistinguishable from each other.

One's inability to "get" the word has everything to do with understanding terminology, and has nothing to do with mispronunciation on the part of the dictator.
