Sorry, I’m confused.  Maybe it’s a weekend thing!  


Are you doing 2 separate operative reports?  Did the dictator change his mind about what procedure they were doing?   Not sure why you are hearing 2 totally different words.  


In order to us to help you on this Board, you have to give us as much information as you can.  I know it is time consuming to do that, but the odds are you will get a good answer a lot quicker if we know what the question is exactly and what we are looking for.  Complete sentences are really helpful in that way.  


For what it’s worth, one is Hunsuck.  


A modification of the Hunsuck mandibular sagittal split osteotomy is described by which a nerve hook is used to facilitate the optimum placement of the medial bone cut. The simple technique assists with the location of the lingula, protects the inferior alveolar nerve as it enters the mandibular foramen, and enables a bone cut to be placed into the mandibular foramen itself.

Sorry ~~ its the same procedure but he is saying two different types of osteotomies ~~ Here the sentence:

Using a reciprocating saw, the ___ osteotomy was made at the inferior border apical to the first molar and then taken superiorly and connected to the horizontal osteotomy.
