Cannulated "Kugle-Schpitz" - mtmom23

Doing an acetabular fixation...doc spells this out but I cannot confirm it anywhere. Has anyone heard of this pin/nail/screw? He does not specify if it is a pin/nail/screw other than to say cannulated. TIA!

An incision was then made in the skin overlying this area, and blunt dissection was performed down to the ilium. We utilized the cannulated Kugel-Schpitz again to identify the proper start point and trajectory for an S1 iliosacral screw.
