Brain Freeze - pipergirl

What is the ^ used for in a medical report.....I totally have brain freeze, and have looked everywhere!

That's the symbol for above, elevated, enlarged, improved, increased superior (position), upper, and diastolic blood pressure (anesthesia records). It doesn't look like it even belongs in the document. Is this symbol showing up on your screen in a document to be edited or are you typing from written notes? Symbols are generally noted used in transcription. Can you explain a bit what you are doing?

I knew that it was for increase, elevated, etc, and didn't think this belonged there! Yes, I am editing a document, so I decided to edit them out of there. Thank your for your help, however, I went on with it last night and finished it up :)
