Be There or Be Square - LDedmon

Question is: Is grams per square centimeter the same as grams per centimeter squared?

Talking about bone mineral denstiy. Doc has always dictated "squared" this way:

"The overall T-score in the lumbar spine from L1-L4 is -0.1 (bone mineral density 1.167 grams per centimeter squared", and I type it as 1.167 gm/cm2.

But today he changes it and dictates it as "1.167 grams per square centimeter", just transposes the words centimeter and square.

It is the same. - truffle
