Anyone know about filezilla? - sf

cant figure out why all my pdf's keep opening in text......it used to work fine until I downloaded the "suggested new version".....and trying to contact someone at the site is a waste of time!

I am going to start working for a doctor who has been using Filezilla for the previously person who transcribed his notes. I have the Filezilla server installed. What settings do I change on the client for him? I am confused what to put in the host, username and password. What do I change so it comes to me? I am really not as stupid as it appears!!!
